Hawai'i Green Collar Institute Fall 2019 Program Application
Aloha! This is an application for participation in the Hawai'i Green Collar Institute (HGCI) program coordinated by the Mālama Learning Center during the DOE fall break, October 7-11, 2019 for high school students from Leeward and Windward O'ahu in grades 10-12.

The goal of this fall intersession program is to expose local students to the breadth of "green" careers in Hawai'i through hands-on site visits that build capacity and interest in environmental conservation. There will be an overnighter at Camp Mokule'ia, field trips, hands-on activities, and talk story sessions with people in this profession. Everyday will be filled with fun activities and memorable learning experiences -- don’t miss your chance to be a part of this engaging program! We will accept qualified applications as we get them so it's best to apply early.

Please complete this application form using your own words to the best of your ability by September 13, 2019. We will continue to recruit until the program is filled. You will be notified by September 20 on whether or not you're selected for this program. There will be a non-refundable $25 program supply fee due to Mālama Learning Center after notification of acceptance into this program to reserve your spot. If you have any questions about the program, please email chelsey@malamalearningcenter.org.

This session of the Hawai'i Green Collar Institute is conducted by Mālama Learning Center with support from many partners. Major funding is provided by the Environmental Protection Agency.
