Permission Slip - Year 7 Geography Fieldwork Excursion.


Background:
Students in Year 7 Geography have been exploring the nature and management of landscapes and landforms. Mandatory fieldwork provides your son with the opportunity to learn about geographical concepts outside of the classroom. This field work opportunity also relates directly to your son's upcoming Term 2 assessment task.

Excursion Details: 

Date: Wednesday the 10th of May, 2023. Week 3, Term 2, 2023. 

Venue: Bantry Bay or Camp Coutts (Students will be notified prior to the day)

Time: 8:20am - 3:15pm.
Students MUST arrive no later than 8:20am and assemble in the Centenary Quad. 

Return: Students will return back to school by 3:15pm. (Students are still required to attend co-curricular activities as required). 

Required items:
- Sports uniform and wet weather jacket.
- Hat/Sunscreen.
- Water Bottle.
- Food (Note: There is NO opportunity to purchase food on the day).
- Writing Materials e.g., Pens/Pencils. 

Cost: The cost of the day has been added to your son's Term 2 school fees.

IMPORTANT: This is an all weather event and will go ahead in the event of rain.
