David Chiu:
In November 2014, David Chiu was elected to the California State Legislature to represent the 17th Assembly District, which encompasses eastern San Francisco. He was re-elected in 2016. During David's first year, he served as Assistant Speaker pro Tempore; since his second year, he has served as Chair of the Assembly Housing & Community Development Committee. He also sits on the following legislative committees: Budget; Business and Professions; Judiciary; Arts, Entertainment, Sports, Tourism, and Internet Media.

Andrew Bindman:
Andy Bindman is professor of medicine, epidemiology, and biostatistics and an affiliated faculty member within the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies at the University of California, San Francisco. He served as director of the US Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) from May 2016 until the conclusion of the Obama administration. In 2009/10, he was a Robert Wood Johnson health policy fellow on the staff of the US House Energy and Commerce Committee and helped draft legislative language for the Affordable Care Act.
