Currently SCT is looking for submissions for our annual summer show held at North Park Amplitheatre in Springboro. The show runs the first 2 weekends in August for 5 shows. This year is 31 July - 8 August running Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Friday, Saturday. Auditions would be held 15-17 June. 

The ideal show would be a family friendly (generally a musical), large cast with a diverse age range of characters. 

Things to take into consideration would be the following: 

      The set would need to be built off site and put together on stage

      Set pieces need to be moved on and off stage over brick and concrete

      August evenings can be humid and hot

      Logistics of musical instruments and technical equipment

When submitting please provide a theatrical resume showcasing your directing experience, the vision that you have for the show as well as whether or not you envision musical instruments or track music

The SCT Board appreciates the time, willingness, and effort of all who offer submissions. Submissions are open now, and will close at midnight on Friday 31 October, 2025. Announcement of selection will be made prior to 21 November, 2025.
