This is an online training session.

As trustees, you have a responsibility to ensure adequate procedure and policy to protect and safeguard children and young people.

This training will provide participants with the knowledge, skills, understanding and confidence to fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities & duty of care towards children and young people.

Training content:
- Legislation and guidance that underpins work with children & young people
- Key principles,procedure and good practice
- The impact of abuse on children and young people
- Promotion of the welfare of children and young people
- Be familiar with Harrow safeguarding procedures

By the end of the workshop you should be able to implement good safeguarding practice in your organisation,
