Entry Criteria
All entrants must be Nigerian American students either in high school or college in the United States.  Graduate students are not eligible.   Nigerian American here is loosely defined as anyone of Nigerian ancestry resident here in the United States.  

No entry will be received by any other means other than via this form and the email provided (usanamsa@gmail.com).  
Award ceremony will be held in Boston, Massachusetts.  All finalists/winners must be present to receive their awards.  NAMSA does not carter for the transportation of recipients.
Judging
1.Judging will be done by a panel of distinguished judges.
2. Judges will not discuss essays or compute scores until all essays have been marked.
3. Only judges can assign award points.
4. The decision of the judges are final and winners will be as chosen by them.

By entering this competition you authorize NAMSA to contact you if you emerge a finalist/winner. You also authorize NAMSA to publicize your name along with other finalists/winners in the media as deemed necessary.
