Thank you for your interest in the Enrichment Programme 2025.

The Enrichment Programme is a fully funded Development Programme which brings together a dedicated close-knit community of clinical expertise, mentorship and educational support designed to help Final Year Medical Students succeed.

Applying to the Enrichment Programme does not guarantee you a place as this depends on numbers overall. We will, however, accommodate as many spaces as possible. Applications are assessed based on quality.

Enrichment Programme Guidance 2025
- The Enrichment Programme Mentoring Scheme will predominantly run online unless the mentee and mentors decide to include face to face meetings as part of the mentoring relationship.

- The teaching programme associated with the Enrichment Programme will be delivered virtually from May - December 2025.

- We will keep you updated if we make any adaptations to the programme.

- Selection of Mentees will be done via shortlist from application forms, followed by interviews at mutually agreed times if needed.

- Your application form will only be seen by the Melanin Medics Enrichment Programme Team which includes the Programmes Team and the Board of Directors as they will be involved in the recruitment process. However, due regard will be given to confidentiality.

- All training will take place via the Zoom online platform and mentoring sessions will take place based on agreements between the different allocated pairs. This could be via phone calls or zoom or similar online platforms. There might be possibilities of in person meetings depending on availabilities in your pairs. 

Applications close on 30th April 2025.

As a Enrichment Programme Student you will also be required to do the following:
- Commit to meeting with your Mentor a minimum of once a month via our mentorship platform.

- Mentees are required to undergo initial training and will receive ongoing support throughout the Enrichment Programme with Mentors, webinars and access to further resources.

- Attend all sessions including the monthly mentoring sessions and online webinars

- Utilise mentoring guidance and resources which are regularly shared and updated.

- Receive a certificate at the end of the Programme year for successful completion.
By submitting an application you are committing yourself to possibly being selected for the mentoring programme which commits you to regular mentoring sessions, educational webinars and development webinars. Mentoring sessions will be agreed within your mentoring pairs. *
