A joyful singing experience! ----Kindergarten - 3rd grade---- Register now! First rehearsal January 9 (5:15 - 6:00 pm)
Main Street Children’s Choir is an all-community young children’s choir for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Each 45-minute rehearsal addresses proper vocal techniques preparing the children to successfully sing for a lifetime. Through games, fun and music-making, instructions include:

~ vocal readiness
~ expressive singing
~ theater games
~ aural skills
~ solfege
~ beat and rhythm development
~ movement in music
~ confidence

The repertoire is age-appropriate. A skills assessment will take place throughout our first rehearsal. The children will perform in an informal singing event in May. Registration is open now. The winter/spring choir semester begins on January 9.

When: Winter/Spring semester: 15 weeks and one performance = 16 sessions beginning January 9.
Time: Thursday rehearsals from 5:15 - 6 pm and May 3rd performance - TIME TBA
