Registration - "Let's Welcome Elul in the Parking Lot" on September 3, 2020
We know many of you are enthusiastic to have more than just Zoom programs and services to sustain the Beth David community...
Rabbi Alpert and Rabbi Roller will lead an uplifting spiritual program to mark the beginning of Elul, the final month of the Jewish year prior to Rosh HaShanah. Our time together will include hearing the shofar, moments for self-reflection, and a few prayers (including the Mourner's Kaddish).
We intend it to be a safe, inspiring experience in full accord with all relevant regulations while preserving pikuach nefesh, "the saving of human life.”
Please note: participants must remain in their cars for the entire program including entering and exiting the parking lot. The building will be closed, therefore, there will be no access to restrooms.
Registration is per CAR not per person. Due to County guidelines, we are limiting the number of cars to 20-25. The parking lot will open at 6:30pm to allow to check everyone in and the program start by 7:00 pm.
This is a pilot program to test logistics for traffic safety and to be sure the event can be completed in the expected time allotted of 60 minutes including entry and program. A completed registration does not guarantee a spot for your car in the parking lot. Everyone will be notified if we have enough space for their car or not. Should there be an overwhelming response, we will consider another event to give more people an opportunity for the in-car service.
Preregistration is required. There can be no drop ins for this event nor walk ups.
There are four steps to securing your attendance.
1. Agree to Beth David's rules.
2. Agree to the waiver on behalf of your family.
3. Provide some basic information.
4. Wait for confirmation of your reservation.
Note: If you register to come and find you cannot attend (before or after you receive a confirmation), please let us know so we remove your name and offer a potential spot to a congregant on the waiting list. If you or any of your passengers feel ill before the event, please do not come and cancel your reservation.
