WiDS Dhahran@KFUPM is inviting you the WiDS Dhahran@KFUPM 2023 Datathon workshop on Feb 14th, 2023,  4:00 - 7:00pm, building 76, room 1226 

WiDS Dhahran @ KFUPM is an independent event that is organized by Asma Yamani and Raghad Alzahrani as part of the annual WiDS Worldwide conference, the WiDS Datathon, and an estimated 200 WiDS Regional Events worldwide.  Everyone is invited to attend all WiDS conference and WiDS Datathon Workshop events which feature outstanding women doing outstanding work.

Register to join the Datathon workshop and the series of meetups that will support you and your team in your participation in the WiDS 2023 Datathon focusing on climate change under the title of “Adapting to Climate Change by Improving Extreme Weather Forecasts.”

In this workshop we will dive in the following points:

-Introduce the competition and formulate teams for the Datathon participation. 

-Performing Exploratory data analysis for time series data

-Building a baseline model

-Using deep learning in time series forecasting

-Tips and future directions
