As salaam alaikum! Thank you for your interest in enrolling in Masjid Muhammad, DC - "The Nation's Mosque", Youth Weekend School! Established in 2014, the Youth Weekend School has a strong foundation, built on the legacy of the Clara Muhammad Schools. We have an exciting year planned ahead for your children!

In addition to Qur'anic Arabic and Islam Studies, our curriculum includes STEAM, ART, CREATIVE EXPRESSION, CRAFTS, COOKING, SANKOFA & MUSLIMS AROUND THE WORLD. Because we are virtual, you can also meet young people from around the country and the globe!

Important Deadlines and Info:

- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with a preferred acceptance deadline of Oct. 12 for Semester 1. Class sizes are limited to provide the best possible instruction. A waitlist will be generated once capacity is reached.  
- Kick-off Program and Orientation: Sunday 10/6/2024 (MANDATORY)
- 1st Semester Classes begin:  Sunday 10/13/2024
- 1st Semester ends: Sunday 02/16/2024
- 2nd Semester Classes begin: 02/23/2025
- 2nd Semester ends 06/22/25
- Instructional Day: Sundays 10:30-2:00

Tuition and Fees:

- FREE for Ages 13 - 17 accepted into the Youth Leadership Program
- $90. per semester for 1st child (ages 5 - 12)
- 10% sibling discount
- We are waiving book and supply fees for virtual offerings this year; however, you may need to purchase supplies for use in some of the classes. This information will be provided in class.
