Cultural Ecosystem Services - Pilot Questionnaire
The following organisations – the European Landowners Organisation (ELO), Copa-Cogeca, the Confederation of European Forest Owners (CEPF), the European Federation for Hunting and Conservation (FACE), the International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC), and the European Historic Houses Association (EHHA) – are currently working at EU level to try to understand the extent to which cultural ecosystem services (CES) are delivered by land owners and site managers, and if and how their sites could deliver more CES.

CES are non-material benefits people obtain from ecosystems, such as positive aesthetic or recreation experiences.
This questionnaire is targeted at individuals who are engaged in the delivery of CES through the way in which they manage privately owned land or other sites.

The information gathered will be used to support a better understanding of the multiple societal and environmental benefits provided by land owners, land managers and those involved in the management of certain rural recreation activities.
