2026 Poster Session Extended Application

State of the Map US 2026 is in Madison, Wisconsin from June 11th to 13th! Join the largest gathering of the OpenStreetMap community within the United States and meet hundreds of fellow students, educators, professionals, volunteers, and open geo enthusiasts.

For the second year in a row, State of the Map US will feature a poster session to showcase the diversity of research, cartography, personal projects, and data visualizations being done with OpenStreetMap. For most of the conference, posters will be unattended in a gallery within the main conference area. For one hour during the weekend, poster creators will be expected to stand next to their poster and answer any questions from attendees.

Before submitting your poster idea, please review the Guidelines. All submissions will be reviewed by the State of the Map US 2026 volunteer Program Committee.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the number of available poster spots are filled, at which point this application will close.
