Pastor Pledge to Prevent Abortions
Are you willing to explain to your church body on a regular (at least once a year) basis how your church will handle an unplanned pregnancy in the youth group? Can you commit that those plans will include:
- Following the example of Jesus and approaching her with grace and friendship?
- Celebrating the life in her womb, despite that sin might have led to the pregnancy?
- Not kicking the pregnant girl out of the church for being pregnant?
- Teaching your students and this young lady how to deal with shame through forgiveness?
- Showing love through concrete acts of kindness, like a baby shower thrown by her small group if she's in one?
- Connecting the pregnant girl to a local Pregnancy Resource Center?
If so, please fill out the information below. Some of the information will be public, including the location of the church in the embedded map, and some will be for our private knowledge. The answers that will be public will be clearly marked as "public" in the wording of the question.
