IEEE CCWC 2017 Raspberry Pi 3 Workshop
The Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) and University of Engineering and Management (UEM), one of the co-sponsors of the 7th IEEE Annual Computing and Communication Workshop and Conference, Las Vegas, USA from 9 - 11 January 2017 (See http://ieee-ccwc.org/) has graciously offered to provide 50 IEEE Student Members, on a first-come, first-served basis, with a FREE one day Workshop to promote academic projects in Electronics and Microprocessors, Robotics and Sensors among enthusiastic students. If you are interested to get an hands on training on how to install Raspberry Pi 3 from scratch and create some DIY Projects then its the best platform.

All Participants are required to bring Laptops with preferred operating system as Windows (if you have registered to buy the Raspberry Pi 3 Kits / Sensors). The software that will be required during the workshop are as follows:
1. Putty (http://www.putty.org/)
2. VNC for Windows (https://nettest.realvnc.com/download/)
3. Win32 Disk Imager (https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/)
4. Raspbian Operating System (https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian/)

The Workshop will cover the following topics:
1. Installation Raspbian Operating System and First Boot
2. Hands-on beginners project using LED, DHT22 and HC-SR04
3. Hands-on moderate skill level project using RGB LED, Capacitive Sensor, PIR Sensor and Pi Camera
