NOTE:  A Federal and Local Background Check is REQUIRED for all of our volunteers.  If you have NOT completed one for Embracing Legacy within the last year,  you will be required to submit a new one with us.  We DO NOT share results with other organizations.

Background Check
Both Local and Federal background checks are REQUIRED for ALL volunteers.  The Local is free.  The Federal is $68 , which is the responsibility of the applicant.
AS A CONDITION OF VOLUNTEERING, I give permission for Embracing Legacy Incorporated to conduct -background check(s) on me now and as long as I continue to be active with the program, which may include a review of sex offender registries as well as child abuse and criminal history records. *
A link for the FEDERAL will be provided upon submission of this application.  The LOCAL form will be provided at orientation.
