Training: 2017 Building Economic Advocacy Strategies
This training will provide participants with basic information on financial capability and strategies for working with survivors toward economic stability and will review the KCADV programs (such as IDAs and microloans) offered to survivors.

-Participants will gain knowledge of basic financial capability concepts such as setting financial goals, budgeting, understanding credit, and recognizing predatory lending.
-Participants will leave with strategies for working with survivors to encourage financial stability, and tools and activities designed to enhance group and individual financial coaching sessions.
-Participants will understand the KCADV menu of services offered to survivors to assist with building economic self-sufficiency.

-Training is from 9 AM - 5 PM both days
-Lunch will be provided
