I/We understand that prior to becoming a member I/we must pay a non-refundable initiation fee (1)* and purchase a refundable interest (2)* in the Association.

I/We also understand that per Beachwood’s Club Rules & Regulations, a membership family is defined as follows: “those individual family members permanently residing at one household at a particular address. Adult children aged 24 years and younger, who are permanently living at such address, are deemed members of the Membership Family. Adult children aged 25 and over, whether or not permanent residents of a Membership Family household, may use the club under the rules established in paragraph B.3”. The referenced paragraph explains Beachwood’s guest policies and fees.

I/We also understand that once I/we become a member there are annual dues (3)* which must be paid each year to maintain membership in the Association. Once I/we become a member(s) and pay dues, I/me and my immediate family will be entitled to full use of the facilities of the Association subject to the by-laws, rules and regulations.

I/We also understand that membership in the Association is limited to 435 families and that there is a waiting list of families interested in joining the Association. Membership will be granted on the basis of when this application for membership is submitted, together with a non-refundable deposit of $50.00. The Association will notify me/us when a membership becomes available and will send me/us a statement showing the then current initiation fee, equity purchase required and annual dues.

I/We understand that I/we may withdraw this application at any time, in which case I/we will forfeit the $50.00 deposit. If membership in the Association is offered and I/we decline the offer but choose to remain on the waiting list, I/we may do so but will be placed at the end of the waiting list upon receipt of the $25.00 processing fee.

With this understanding, my family and I hereby apply for membership in the Beachwood Recreation Association upon submission of this form and payment received. By completing the form below, you are effectively providing your signature, indicating that all the information on this form is true and accurate, to the best of your knowledge.

* Dues and fees: (1) $900.00, (2) $430.00, (3) $700.00. These dues and fees are subject to change without notice.
