Application | Volcano Outdoor School For All

In order to make the volcano accessible to ALL youth from around the region, we offer reduced-rate and fee-waived programs for schools and youth groups that qualify. Additionally, we have a limited number of transportation subsidies for qualifying schools. Volcano Outdoor School for All is only possible through the support of our generous supporters, donors and members.

Each school/group is evaluated individually, based on the needs of the group.

To apply for a fee-waiver and/or transportation assistance, please complete the following application. This application is for field trips during the 2019 calendar year. Funds are limited and funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The Mount St. Helens Institute will reply to your application within two weeks.

The Mount St. Helens Institute secured a limited amount of funding to provide transportation reimbursements to eligible groups. Eligible and selected schools/groups will be reimbursed at a rate of up to $8/person and/or up to $400/vehicle. The school or group must organize transportation.
