Madrichim Placement Form 25-26

We are so pleased that you have taken interest in joining the 25-26 Madrichim Team at Congregation Or Ami this year!!! Please read and fill out this form in full and look out for more information from Andrew Fromer (Youth Engagement Manager at Or Ami) after you have submitted the form.

What are Madrichim?

Madrichim is the Hebrew word for Guides! We also refer to Madrichim in the following ways:

Madrich (male conjugation)

Madricha (female conjugation)

Madriche (singular nonbinary)

Madrichim (plural) 

As guides for our students, you will serve as role models and teachers assistants for our K-6th grade Kesher program. Participants in our Madrichim Program are matched with a teacher for the year to aid them in classroom activities. As a part of the Madrichim team, you will forge meaningful relationships with the Or Ami faculty and the students in the classroom. This is a rewarding experience that allows you to learn and grow as leaders in a classroom setting.

Time Commitment- Tuesday and/or Wednesday from 3:50pm - 6:00 pm.

Please also plan to join us at Faculty Orientation August 24, 2025 approx. 10am-1pm at Or Ami. 

Your time will be split between assisting in your class, meeting with the Madrichim team, and working directly with your faculty member to have leadership opportunities in the classroom. If you are available and interested in helping with other education programs at Or Ami, there may be some time outside of Kesher that you will need to be available.
