This creative skills and job focused education program starts March 6, 2023 and runs through June 1, 2023. If successfully completed, this program leads to a paid internship placement in June 2023.

Days: Monday through Thursday
Dates: March 6 - June 1st
Time: 12:30-3:30pm (with potential for additional paid opportunities outside of program hours)
Age: 17-25 (you must turn 18 by the end of the program)

At the end of the program, participants will have a better understanding of the wide range of career and employment options involving making and manufacturing. You'll talk to individuals working in various careers, take tours of manufacturing facilities and have both classroom and shop time for learning. Students master the basics of operating different pieces of equipment safely, and learn general processes and procedures related to making new objects and items. Students who complete the program successfully qualify as Certified Manufacturing Associates (a ToolingU-SME certification). Graduates of the program select a 4 week long paid internship placement at a partnering manufacturing company.
