Genders & Sexualities Alliance Network (GSA Network) invites you to apply to host a workshop or training at our annual Youth Empowerment Summit (YES), taking place at Mission High School on December 7th (9am - 8pm). YES 2019 is open to all trans, queer, LGBTQ+ youth and allies (ages 18 and under) in Northern California.
Youth today know the state of the world they will inherit, which is why we are dedicated to seeing YOUTH POWER ON THE RISE. At GSA Network, we're committed to empowering youth voices and youth visions for our communities. We invite you and your organization to join us in building youth power through knowledge and skills sharing!
*** WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL YOUTH PRESENTERS/PROGRAMS TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL***
WE WILL ACCEPT PROPOSALS ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS: Youth Organizing, Advocacy, Know Your Rights, Political Education (School Pushout, Immigration Justice, and other Social Justice Issues), Queer and Trans Identities, Trans Healthcare, Name Change Clinics, Restorative Justice, Self-Care, Social Media as a Organizing Tool, Faith and Religious Acceptance, Sexual Health, Healthy Relationships, Dance/Movement, Self-Defense, Mental Wellness, Navigating Families, Writing and Artivism, and Decolonizing Work (food, spirit, medicine)
