The
UT Department of Psychology & Neuroscience offers undergraduate majors and minors in the fields of Psychology and Neuroscience. Use this form to declare a primary or secondary major or a minor in Psychology or Neuroscience. You can also use this form to remove a second major or minor from your degree.
Once you complete this form, your student profile in MyUTK will be updated with your new declaration within two weeks. You will not receive a separate email confirmation of this change, but it will be visible in MyUTK and on your DARS report.

psychadvising@utk.edu).
Students who are already a declared psychology major and would like to apply to the honors concentration can do so
here. Students who would like to declare an honors concentration in Neuroscience should reach out to Dr Matt Cooper, Director of Neuroscience, at mcoope10@utk.edu.
NOTE: All changes to your degree must be made before applying for graduation (which happens during your senior year). If you are a senior and have already applied to graduate, reach out to gradspec@utk.edu to make any needed changes to your declarations.
