2020 Homeschool Graduation Ceremony & Celebration
We are excited to help you celebrate your high school senior's accomplishments! Please join us for a graduation ceremony and celebration for this year's seniors. Graduates will receive a Ceremonial Diploma in a black certificate cover with a gold foil border. We are not a school and we are not a degree granting institution. According to state law we cannot issue an accredited or certified diploma. However, we are issuing a Ceremonial Diploma to congratulate our homeschoolers on their grand accomplishment as they move on to the next phase of their future. Please note that space is limited for this event so please register early.
Requirements to participate in the graduation ceremony and celebration:
*Must be a high school senior who is currently a home education student
*Must email the following items to

*Graduation script or biography statement: This statement should describe accomplishments of your graduate, their interests, and plans for the future, such as college or career plans. The statement should outline what sets them apart and how homeschool was the best school choice for them. Please limit this statement to 150 words.
*One photo of your senior now
(photos can be casual or formal)
Note: Acceptable file format for all photos: .jpg or .png. All files must be below the 2MB file size limit.
Steps needed to participate in the graduation ceremony and celebration:
*Gather requested items (see above)
*Complete this registration form and agree to the participation agreement by May 1, 2020.
*Send payment in the amount of $55 per graduate to

(payments are non-refundable)
*Please note that cap, gown, and tassels are optional for our homeschool graduation ceremony and celebration. If you choose to purchase a cap and gown you can purchase any color or design that your graduate likes.
*Note that there will NOT be a graduation rehearsal for graduates.

Arrival: Upon arrival, please use the street parking available on Oak Avenue. Once you enter the venue you will be greeted by and will check in with one of our homeschool alumni.
Attire: Graduates should dress semi-formal, formal, or even in a cap and gown (optional). Dress and appearance at the graduation and celebration is the responsibility of the parents and graduates. Please use sound judgement to ensure that attire is not offensive or inappropriate.
Special Needs: If there are any specific accommodations that are needed for your graduate, family, or guests please indicate so in the registration form.
Guests: Please limit guests to 6 persons per graduate. If you have circumstances that exceed this amount please contact one of the organizers (see below).
During the ceremony, we will have a brief guest speaker. Then, each graduate will be called in alphabetical order. Their script or biographical statement will be read as we congratulate them on their completion of their homeschool journey. Although we will not have photographs or videos of the graduation and ceremony available for purchase, parents and guests are welcome to take pictures of and video their graduate. After we have congratulated all graduates, light refreshments will be served as we celebrate and discuss what the future holds for our graduates.
