2025-2026 Operation Thunderjoy -                Donor Signup
Travis Heights Elementary is an innovative, inclusive, and incredibly sweet neighborhood school to nearly 500 students, 65% of whom are living below the poverty line. Home to one of the largest refugee and immigrant populations in Austin ISD, we are rich in culture, but many of our families lack basic necessities. We work with many partners to provide aid to these families. But Operation Thunderjoy is our annual chance to go beyond "needs" and provide our wonderful families with some "wants."

Now in its 10th year, Operation Thunderjoy matches the families in our school that need the most with families in a position to help.  Last year, we helped 50 families, and our goal this year is to help just as many.

If you are interested in being matched with a Travis Heights Elementary family in need,  please fill out the information below. 
  • Complete the donor sign-up form by 10/31/2025, the sooner the better
  • Donor/family match emails with wish lists will be sent starting 11/3/2025
  • Wrapped and labeled gift drop-off can begin as early as 12/1/2025
  • Last day of gift drop-off 12/18/2025
More information about the drop-off process will be shared as we get closer to that week.
