Welcome to the QNUK Level 3 Certificate for Forest School Leaders Training with Coast and Forest Education.
This
level 3 course is designed to qualify you to become a Forest School
Leader and to be able to set up and run a Forest School programme. It
covers how to facilitate groups in a learner-centred way, and how to
manage a Forest School site sustainably. It also covers the practical
skills required for a Forest School Leader as well as the underlying
knowledge and ethos. This course is approximately 180 hours TQT, with
approximately 96 guided learning hours and is worth 18 credits.
Pre-Requisites:
This
qualification is available to those over 19 years, however Forest
School Leaders are required to be 21 years of age. Learners should be at
least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent.

Forest School Level 3 course Dates 2025 (10 compulsory days)
March 12th-14th
April 30th - May 2nd
June 6th & 7th
July 3rd & 4th
Trainees must attend all dates.
Participants must attend all module dates to complete the training. Each day will be 9.30am to 5pm
In
addition to the dates set out above, there is a significant amount of
work for you to undertake commensurate with a level 3 qualification. The date for final submission of your work will be the approximately 12 months from the start date.

Please note that this training does not include Forest School First Aid and/ or
Paediatric First Aid training. This can be booked separately with this

Fee:
The total cost of the Level 3 training is £1,200
To pay for Level 3 training in instalments, £120 non refundable is due
at the time of booking to reserve a place. 50% of the remainder (£540) is due the beginning February. The final £540 is due by the end of April 2025.
Invoices for all fees will be sent to the person you nominate in section 2 of this form.

Cancellation:
Cancellation notices must be received in writing.
1 Cancellation notice of 20 days or less before planned start date: there will be no refund of any fees paid.
2 Cancellation notice made from 21 - 28 days before the planned start date, a charge of 50% of the total cost will be made
3 Cancellation
notice made 28 days or more before the planned date, no further charge
will be made for training but an administration fee of £120 will be
retained from the deposit monies already paid.
4 In
the unlikely event that COAST AND FOREST EDUCATION cancels the
training, the course will be rescheduled and you will be transferred to
an appropriate alternative date.
5. If you WITHDRAW from the course for any reason once the course has started, there will be no refunds
