Adventure Unlimited Organizational Chart
DiscoveryBound is a division of Adventure Unlimited. Below is our organizational chart, illustrating where DiscoveryBound, and its programs, fit within the organization as a whole. 
Volunteer Positions Available within DiscoveryBound
Outreach
  • DB Chapter Leader - Solo or with the support of other adults in your area, help bring your local CS Community together by planning fun, engaging events and outings, managing funds, and keeping folks informed about DiscoveryBound programming. 
  • DB Ambassador - Help your region stay informed and connected with DB by establishing contact with branch churches/societies in your area and making sure they are receiving information about programming, trips, and financial assistance for all. 
  • DB Event Chaperone - During large teen weekend programs, we often need help from chaperones to ensure adequate supervision and support! We'd love to have you join us! (Ages 20+) 
  • 20s/30s Weekend Event Planner - Have ideas for fun events for young adults in your area? We'd love to support you in planning and hosting a weekend event. Resources available! 
  • 20s/30s Local Rep - Do you live in an area with a population of young adult Christian Scientists? Help make sure they know what opportunities are available to them, and help plan fun activities!
Compass
  • Compass Guide - Alongside a co-host and CS Practitioner, guide a group of 12 high schoolers through eight months of spiritual exploration and connection. (Ages 25+)
  • Compass Retreat Host - Host 12 Teens, 2 Guides, 1 Practitioner for one of their weekend retreats.
  • Ignite Facilitator - Alongside a CS Practitioner, encourage a group of young adults ages 18-23 to spark inspiration, fuel their spiritual study, and kindle meaningful connections with CS peers. (Ages 25+) 
National Leadership Council (NLC) 
  • Class Leader - With the support of a co-leader, shepherd a group of teens through an impactful, life changing 4.5-year leadership program rooted in Christian Science and servant leadership. 
  • Teen Mentor - Team up with an 8th-grader to guide and support them through their 4.5-year NLC journey.
  • Chaperone - At the annual All Class Retreat in January and/or their intro summers at the A/U Ranches, join an NLC class to support them as they spend precious time together learning and growing! 
  • ACR Facilitator - If you are interested in facilitating workshops for the teens, parents, or mentors at the annual All Class Retreat in January, please fill out this form!
