ManyBabies 5 Survey May 2022
This survey includes follow-up questions from our ManyBabies 5 meeting on April 1, 2022. The survey asks about your plans for data collection (if any), ability to implement an infant-controlled design, and interest in contributing to various aspects of MB5.

In particular, we are currently looking for ManyBabies5 community members to support various parts of the project in a hands-on way. Specifically, we are looking for folks to (1) create final stimuli; (2) write out documentation/guides; (3) create experimental programs; (4) collect pilot data; and (5) contribute to designing demographic questionnaires. If you are interested in actively contributing in a hands-on way to any of these current to-dos in the project, please indicate your interest below!

Do you anticipate collecting data for ManyBabies 5?

If you anticipate collecting data, which age group(s) do you think you would want to test?
If you anticipate collecting data, we would like for your lab to contribute at least a “full” sample of ~32 infants (this is an estimated number, not the final number), but it’s also okay to contribute a “half” sample of ~16 infants (again, this is only an estimate). How many total infants do you think your lab can contribute? **Note that this is not a commitment, it’s simply to help us estimate the sample size that might be possible!**
If you plan to collect data, could you implement (with programming and technical support) an infant-controlled design? In this design, infant looking is coded online (e.g., during the experiment, either manually or via an eye tracker) and familiarization only ends when the infant has accumulated a certain amount of looking.
