First Annual ELCA Upstate NY Synod Advocacy Roundtable
Join us for a hybrid gathering on Sunday, September 20th from 3-5p is to help Lutherans and allies across our state understand the legislative process in New York, get a general understanding of hot button issues in the 2027 New York State legislative session and help develop advocacy priorities in line with Social Teachings of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Participants will gather in-person at various congregations across the synod, zoom together for the first hour, and then break out into focus groups for the second hour. This information will then be synthesized by our Advocacy Task Force into three main priority areas as we head towards our second Lutheran Day at the Capitol on March 8th and March 9th, 2027.
