Introduction to Chess and Intermediate Chess
Introduction
Chess is a game to practice and improve your mental thinking skills, which are often emphasized in life. We are offering 2 chess classes, an introductory class, for players who have little to no knowledge on the game, and an intermediate class, for players who have played tournament games under the rating of 500 or who know how to play.

Introduction to Chess
This course is for players who have no experience at all. This course will teach you through the basics of chess and start into strategies. Offering 14 lessons and one tournament day, this course will hopefully get you started into successful tournament playing.

Intermediate Chess
This course is for players who have played little to some tournaments. This course will teach you strategies and fundamentals to get better at the game, and to motivate the players to play more. Offering 14 lessons and one tournament day, this course will hopefully get you rolling through chess tournaments.

Course Structure
The 15-course class will be held and recorded on Zoom. Students should be expected to complete the assignments handed out in class, formatted on Canvas.

Schedule
Classes will be on a 2 classes per week schedule: July 5 to August 30

Tuition
$150 for the Introductory to Chess Class (15 classes for 1hr classes)
$225 for the Intermediate Class (15 classes for 1.5hr classes)
