Let's Check Your Chromebook's Condition
We are going to make sure your Chromebook is in working order! 

  1. Does it power on? Make sure it can turn on and receive a charge with your charger! 
  2. Check the screen. Note if there are any cracks, gaps, or dirt.
  3. Check the keys. Make none are missing, the plate around it is not loose, and that the keys do not fall off if tipped. 
  4. Check the case. Make sure there are no cracks! Your hinges should be covered and working. Check that the trackpad works and you can move your cursor!
  5. Look at the ports. Make sure nothing is inside the ports.

It is also recommended to label your charger will a removable marking so it will be easy to identify!

Write down any notes on your Chromebook's condition that may worry you using the guide(s) above. If it is not in working order, speak to your media coordinator and/or teacher within one week of form completion.  The best form of contact for your media coordinator is email.
