2022 Ontario Bike Summit: Call for Proposals
Share the Road Cycling Coalition invites you to submit an abstract to present at our 13th Annual Ontario Bike Summit taking place on April 5 and 6, 2022 at the Courtyard Toronto Downtown and online.

The theme is Resilience Through Bicycle Friendly Communities (BFCs) and invites presentations that will highlight principles of resilience in decision-making, fostering community, overcoming/reframing challenges as opportunities, and adapting to circumstances. Speakers are invited to discuss resilience as it relates to planning for bicycle friendliness to foster social connections; coordinating programs and services to withstand change; or sharing work across stakeholders and departments to foster resilient communities by design.

OBS2022 will cover the 4Es: Engineering, Education, Encouragement, Evaluation and Planning, with the addition of a fifth E: Equity and Diversity. There will be two concurrent sessions for each of the Es held on Wednesday, April 6th. Visit https://pheedloop.com/obs22/site/agenda-at-a-glance/ for up to date information about the conference.

Presentations will be 15 minutes in length, including questions.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is midnight on Monday, March 7th. All abstracts must be submitted using this Google Form. If your presentation is accepted, you will be notified via email by Friday, March 11 and will be eligible for a discounted speakers conference registration rate.
