What happens now?

Volunteer Points will appear in your profile within 7 working days of you logging the points (delays expected during non-semester period and at the end of the year).

When  you are ready to claim your digital Mastercard or Merchandise, you can visit our online portal, where you can see what points you have logged in your account, and allow you to claim your e-Voucher, or Volunteering Merch, or both. Please ensure that you are logged into your Monash Student Email. This system will not work unless you do this.

You will be able to claim your merchandise straight away from SURLY Library. Your digital mastercard will be will be placed in a queue to receive a e-Mastercard at the start of the following month. At this time, you will receive an email about the step-by-step process.

Volunteer Points must be claimed by the end of Exam period (no later than the 15th November) the volunteer rewards system will reset after this time, and all points balances will return to zero

Volunteer certificates

Volunteers who accumulate over 30 points in one annual year are also eligible to receive a certificate signed by the Volunteer Coordinator. Eligible volunteers will be contacted near the end of Semester Two, to arrange their certificate.

Volunteer Rewards 

The Volunteer Rewards Program is our recognition system designed to say thank you for your hard work and ongoing commitment to our Monash community. As an MSA volunteer, you are eligible to receive Volunteer points for volunteer tasks you complete. Volunteer Points can then be collected in the form of an MSA Prepaid Digital Mastercard (1 Volunteering Point = $1), which you can use at MSA outlets like Sir Johns Bar, Wholefoods Restaurant and Cafe and the student theatre and anywhere else. Thats right! You can use it the same way as you would use your bank card in a digital wallet.

You can also redeem Volunteer points for exclusive MSA Volunteering Merch:

4 points - Scarf, Beanie, or Baseball Cap

Thank you again for your support! 

Redeem your points before the 15th of November the same year you have collected your points. After this time, the system resets and you are no longer able to access your points or claim your rewards.
