NW Folklife Entry 2019
Please complete this form if you have a quilt to display at NW Folklife, Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-27, 2019 in the Cornish Playhouse courtyard (previously Intiman Theater). The courtyard will be locked overnight but may be exposed to outdoor elements...(light rain, sun, birds?) even though the space is under a roof.

We have space for 20 or more quilts, any size is welcome. We will collect the quilts at the May 8th Seattle Modern Quilt Guild meeting. They will be returned at the June 12th meeting. All quilts require a sleeve and a label. The sleeve should be at least 3" wide. If needed, there is a great sleeve tutorial on Jacquie's blog (http://tallgrassprairiestudio.blogspot.com/2012/02/hang-your-quilt-hanging-sleeve-tutorial.html). Temporary sleeves are acceptable as long as you use safety pins. Just make sure there is a 3" space between rows of pins. The label should have a minimum of your name and phone number. Please deliver your quilt in a bag that is also labeled with your name and phone number.

Volunteers needed! We would love your help hanging the quilts, preparing an info sheet for display at Folklife or taking quilts down. See the last question in the survey for dates and approximate times. More info will be e-mailed to those that sign up closer to the actual event. If you wish to volunteer without entering a quilt, put "volunteer only" and "0x0" in the quilt information.
