These awards of max $2500 will be given in direct support of research (either for equipment, research expenses, travel in support of research) or for conference travel where the student will present a poster or a talk.
Applicants must be in good standing in the ABC program.
Under no circumstance may the funds be used for research or travel related to presenting research causing pain, injury, or suffering of animals or harming the environment.
For research grants (including travel to conduct research), applications will be judged on the originality and significance of the research and the potential impact of providing this research support for improving and completing the research project. You may only apply for direct funding for project needs.
For conference travel grants, the most important criterion is that the student shall be presenting research at a national or international conference that was conducted as part of the ABC program at Hunter College.
In addition to completing this form, please have your research mentor or thesis sponsor send a letter of support to email@example.com
before the deadline. Applications without the letter will not be considered.
All awards are given in exchange of actual or estimated expenses and all remaining funds must be returned to the Program.
Applications are due by March 15, 2016.
