Thank you for your interest in BRIC's Youth Filmmaking Bootcamp!
Learn all aspects of the filmmaking process, from pre-production ideation to filming in our Emmy-winning studios, to post-production editing. Over the course of eight weeks, you will learn skills in pre-production, field production, and video editing. This is also a certification course, which will allow you to check out equipment from us to use to create your own project. Please note that this program is designed for high schoolers 14-19 years old. Read about our Youth Certification Process for more information on certification.
This is a course comes with a $200 stipend. Attendance to each class is mandatory to receiving the stipend at the end of the bootcamp.

Tuesdays, January 27 to March 24, 4:00-6:00pm (no class February 17)
Where:
Please note ALL sessions of this program will take place in-person at BRIC House located at 647 Fulton street Brooklyn, NY 11027 and that you MUST be available to participate in all sessions. If you miss the first day, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.
While completing the application, please allow yourself enough time to answer the questions as you will not be able to edit your submission once it has been submitted.
Please note that the program has capacity for 12 students, thus selection will be competitive. If you are not selected to participate, BRIC will reach out throughout the year with other opportunities to engage in career readiness programs by submitting an application to this program!
Application Deadline: Sunday, January 11 at 11:59pm. All applicants will be notified of their selection by Friday, January 16.
