Request for Reconsideration of Course Assignment into Transition to Pre-Algebra by the Parent/Guardian (Spring 2022)
Teachers make course assignment recommendations based on district guidelines, and parents/guardians are notified.  Despite the process identified in the placement procedures and the professional decisions made by school personnel, if the parent/guardian then wishes to request a change of course assignment, the subsequent process should be followed:

1.  Parents/guardians should confer with the teacher who made the recommendation if there are any questions about placement decision.

2.  Fill out the information below to make your request and submit no later than June 30th.  

3.  Progress will be monitored in the new placement during the school year.

4. In the event the student does not maintain a consistent C average, the administrative team, in consultation with the classroom teacher and parents/guardians, will review student progress and make the determination for placement.
