The leadership team is expected to be a group of people driven by their love for Christ to serve incoming freshmen at their university. As such, each person on leadership should have a strong and compelling "Why" to guide them in making this retreat as impactful as it can possibly be for incoming freshmen and the campus as a whole.

The leadership team will get to be the people that meet to plan the details of the retreat to make it uniquely suited for your campus. They also get to be the ones leading their peers in prayer with the goal of making this year's incoming freshman class the most prayed over freshman class your university has ever seen! The leadership team will also get to shape the retreat by interviewing, accepting, and training the counselors and crew that will be the ones to invest in the freshmen. And the leadership team will lead the way in promoting the retreat to incoming freshmen to get as many as possible to be there.

Practically, the time commitment will be specific to each role and its responsibilities. But all leaders should expect to participate in the following:

A handful of leadership meetings to dream, decide, and plan!
Be consistent in prayer over the retreat
Attend your Leadership Retreat (Usually in October)
Attend The Summit Retreat - November 14-16 (a retreat for all retreats across our various campuses to gather to be equipped and collaborate to best led their retreat) Roles that will be expected to attend: Directors, Head of PR, Counselor Trainers. But other roles are welcomed and encouraged to attend as well based on available space.
Mandatory monthly leadership meetings throughout the 2025-2026 academic year, with more frequent meetings subject to occur before staff trainings and events
Participation in the counselor application and interview process
Participate at all full-staff trainings on select nights during the Spring
Attendance at the spring fundraisers
Attend one prayer groups per week during the spring semester - TBD
Promoting the retreat and inviting incoming freshmen to attend
Communication and a couple of tasks during the summer (this varies per role)
Attend the retreat's prep days and final counselor training immediately prior to the retreat
Attendance at the 2026 retreat!!
Transition well into the next leadership team
