The Know Your IX team is hearing from more and more student survivors that their civil rights have been violated by their schools after reporting sexual harassment or violence. As we wait for the Biden administration's new Title IX rule, students continue to experience harm under the 2020 regulations, which allow schools to shirk their responsibility to take sexual violence seriously and provide survivors with the resources they need.
Even though we needed a new rule yesterday, there are still actions students can take when their rights are violated! If you are a student and your school violated your Title IX rights, sign up below for our virtual training on Tuesday, April 5th at 7pm ET on how to navigate the process of filing a complaint with the Office for Civil rights and hold your school accountable.
