BABA Inc, powered by the FDNY & Red Cross, is implementing a lifesaving project to host fire safety workshops and to install free smoke alarms for over 1,000 NYC residents. In order for us to serve that many New Yorkers, we'll need your help as a volunteer. Please sign up to be one of our Safety Captain volunteers who will take the onus of educating our communities on fire safety and installing lifesaving smoke alarms.

Fire data shows that the Black community unfortunately claims the highest number of fire deaths yearly. The Touray Tower Fire & Alarms Project (TTFAP) spawned from the tragic Bronx fire that killed 17 residents on January 9th 2022 at a high rise apartment building nicknamed Touray Tower. The fire, claiming 17 Black lives from the West African community, set a grim record for the deadliest NYC fire in 30 years.
