Participating in a Listening Session with MAMFT is an opportunity for students and pre-clinical individuals to tell their stories and voice their professional developmental needs.

Attendees may join in person or online.

Ground Rules for Listening Sessions
All participants are required to conduct themselves with respect and civility, knowing that it takes vulnerability and strength to speak publicly. Participants should be aware of the following ground rules in advance:

-Each registered recognized speaker will have a maximum of five minutes to speak. A stopwatch will be visible to help each speaker keep track of time.
-If a speaker exceeds the five-minute limit, they will be notified, and the microphone will be cut off shortly thereafter.
-Speakers are asked to be courteous to the person after them and limit their remarks to the given time limit.

If time permits:
-Additional time may be given to recognized speakers
-Additional speakers may be put on the docket
-Name calling, slurs and vulgarities of any kind, verbal and physical attacks, and unlawful conduct will not be permitted.
-Any such actions may result in the termination of a speaker’s time and removal from the venue.
