Our Markets
Market Street at Sterling Mills runs on the last weekend of each month, 10am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday, within the Outlet Village
Farmers pitch cost £60 per day, £100 for the weekend.
Hot food pitch £120 for the weekend

Helensburgh Market in the Square runs on the second Saturday of every month, 10am to 4pm, in Colquhoun Square.
£50 for a Farmers pitch,
£75 for food vans/gazebos pitch

Oak Mall Producers Market runs inside the Oak Mall Shopping Centre in Greenock on the 2nd and last Fridays of the month, 10am to 4pm.

Milngavie Friday Market runs on the 3rd Friday of each month, 10am to 4pm, beside the clock
Farmers pitch for food and non-food £45 per day.

Alloa First Friday Market, runs on the High Street, Alloa, 10am to 4pm.

Dunfermline 3rd Saturday Market runs at the Pittencrieff Glen Gates on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
Hot food pitch £100 per day.
Farmers market pitch £60 per day

The market will then run on the 3rd weekend of each month, from October 2019, inside the Kingsgate Shopping Centre, beside Debenhams.
Farmers market pitches £120 for the weekend

Kirkintilloch 3rd Thursday Market will run on the 3rd Thursday of each month, in Tesco car park.
Farmers market pitches cost £55 per day.

An invoice for payment through BACS will be sent out once your booking is confirmed, to be paid at least 7 days in advance of the market date. No refunds will be issued unless booking is cancelled via email to 5 days in advance, unless cancellation is due to illness

Gas Appliances
Any hot food sellers using gas appliances must provide copies of all relevant testing and safety certificates
Terms and Conditions
SHS Markets – General Terms and Conditions applicable to all Markets

1 Notice is required if you are unable to attend any of the Market days you have booked or confirmed, by email to at least 24 hours in advance
2 The occupation of any pitch for one or more markets in succession does not constitute a right for future use of that pitch
3 The allocation of pitches is solely at the discretion of the management.
4 Pitches cannot be shared or sub-let without the agreement of the market organiser
5 Most markets are outdoors, therefore pitch holders should be prepared to trade, no matter what the weather
6 Trading times are advertised in the event listings on Facebook. Pitch holders should be ready to trade 15 minutes before the advertised start time, and have the area in front of their pitch clear.
7 All stock must be kept within the pitch provided
8 Pitches must not be moved from their positions
9 Please do not place A-frames or blackboards in public areas without permission
10 A copy of your Public Liability Insurance and any relevant food hygiene and/or kitchen certificates must be sent or given to to the Market Manager before the start of trading
11 The pitch holder on the day of the market is responsible for complying with all local and national laws and regulations regarding the production, labelling, display, storage, handling, cooking and sale of goods. Sellers of alcoholic beverages must hold their own occasional license.
12 All pitches must comply with current Trading Standards and Health and Safety requirements
13 All pitches must display their trading name and contact details. This can be in the form of a banner, poster or business cards
14 Pitch holders will be provided with a 8’x4’ craft pitch, a 8’x8’ farmer pitch, or a 10’x10’ hot food pitch, and must provide their own suitable table covers, preferably black, reaching the ground at the front of the table for craft pitches.
15 Pitch holders are not provided with a chair, please bring your own if required
17 Electricity is not normally provided for pitches, unless agreed in advance with the management.
All electrical items must have current PAT labels
18 Please take responsibility for making your pitch look attractive, you will have a far better response from public
19 We ask pitch holders not to pack up early, as it affects the look of the entire market. Please stick to market set up and finish times.
20 Pitch holders are responsible for their own stock/pitch if they leave it unattended at any time
21 Pitch holders must dispose of all their rubbish at the end of each trading day
22 Fire exits must be kept clear at all times
23 There is a strict No Smoking policy at all pitches and space adjacent to pitches for all pitch holders and staff. This includes electric cigarettes
24 No alcohol to be consumed by pitch holders or staff at pitches or within the market area
25 If the management feel the weather/wind will make the market unable to go ahead, you will be notified by telephone or email by 10pm, the night before the event. The management will do everything in their power to make sure all markets go ahead as planned.
26 Pitch holders are expected to promote and support the market using their websites and social media pages
27 Pitch holders will treat each other with respect. Foul or offensive language will not be tolerated.
28 Grievances should be directed to the Market Manager who, in turn, will be responsible for resolving the dispute
29 We reserve the right to take photos of pitches and products and use them to advertise the market on social media but will chose which pitches and products we use
30 All traders who attend the market must agree to these terms and conditions.
