Reading Teacher of the Year Initial Nomination Form 2021-2022 (VSLA-Richmond Area Chapter)
The VSLA-Richmond Area Chapter, Reading Teacher of the Year award recognizes a reading teacher whose commitment to literacy is exemplary and unparalleled. The recipient of the VSLA-Richmond Area Chapter Reading Teacher of the Year award will receive a $500 grant to use for literacy instruction in the classroom and will be submitted for consideration as the VSLA 2021-2022 Ofie T. Rubin Reading Teacher of the Year.

Eligibility: The candidate must be a member of the VSLA Richmond Area Chapter in the 2021-2022 school year and must spend one-third of his/her day teaching reading to students in grades K-12.
All nominations must be received by 2/18/2022.
