Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Request Form
Thank you for your interest in hosting or participating in a Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) Training.
YMHFA teaches adults who regularly interact with young people how to help youth experiencing mental health challenges in both crisis and non-crisis situations, as well as how to recognize risk factors and warning signs of mental health concerns. This training gives adults the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to youth and connect them to the appropriate care.
This is a basic training and open to anyone with or without a mental health background. We do, however, encourage mental health professionals and their school/organizational colleagues to participate in the training to both refresh themselves on and share a common understanding of YMHFA. While there is no cost to hosts or participants since this is funded by Blue Shield of California's BlueSky Initiative.
Please complete the form below so we may schedule or connect you to a training.
