Welcome to the registration for the Winthrop University Fraternity & Sorority community! We are excited that you are interested in joining one of our chapters here at Winthrop.

While you may attend an organization's recruitment event, rush, or interest meeting, you may not formally accept a bid, membership invitation, or begin an intake process until you are deemed ELIGIBLE by the Office of Student Activities -  Fraternity & Sorority Affairs and added to the Eligibility List shared with the chapter leaders that oversee their organization's recruitment/intake process.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrollment as an active Winthrop University Student
- Completion of 12 university credit hours
- 2.5 cumulative GPA

Chapter Academic Standards: Many chapters have a higher academic requirement for membership than the one listed above. Be sure to ask about individual chapter expectations during the recruitment process/interest meeting.

*Transfer students in their first semester at Winthrop must submit a transcript (official or unofficial) to the Office of Student Activities (DIGS 269) for verification of GPA and credits from their most previous institution. Please place in a sealed envelope with your name and Attn: Fraternity & Sorority Affairs - Transcript for Fraternity & Sorority Eligibility.

By submitting the information on the next page, you understand that this is an interest form and you are not obligated in any way to the Fraternity and Sorority community at Winthrop University in filling out this form, nor do they have any obligation to you. For the purpose of interest in joining a fraternity or sorority at Winthrop University, you give your consent to the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs to share your contact information with the President and/or Recruitment Chair/Intake Coordinator of fraternal organizations that have access to the Eligibility List.
