Dear Resident,

The Village of Stockport Council is currently in the beginning stages of evaluating our community's residential trash collection services. Our goal is to determine if a single, village-wide trash contract could better serve our residents. We are exploring options that would:

Lower Costs: Secure a discounted group rate for all residents.
Protect Infrastructure: Reduce the heavy wear and tear on our village streets caused by multiple competing companies running heavy trucks on different days.
Improve Peace & Quiet: Eliminate multiple trucks coming at different times of the day and night by establishing a single, cohesive pickup schedule.
Simplify Billing: Combine your trash bill directly into your existing Water & Sewer bill, resulting in just one monthly statement for all municipal utility services.
Add Community Benefits: Provide a dedicated Large Item Trash Pickup Day quarterly for easy disposal of bulk items.
