BYOG (Bring Your Own Game) EventIt’s no secret that we spend more time indoors during our long winters and by February we are all ready for some social relief and emerge from hibernation(admit it, you haven’t seen your neighbors in months). The lawn games were put away for the winter but family game time lives on. Whether it’s Monopoly, Clue, a card game with grandpa or a round of cribage, breaking away from the phone and tv is good for the soul and the selection of family games has never been greater. Plan host your own BYOG (Bring Your Own Game) Event using one of the following ideas or one of your own: ● Invite customers to bring their own game to play with friends while you feature food or drink specials ● Host a game tournament (trivia, darts, pool, anything!) ● Do you sell games: run a special on family board games
S'moresFestWe're turning this summer classic into a winter favorite. S’moresFest is easy to participate in: whether you want to fire up your patio fire pit for s’mores over the fire or feature a s’more themed drink or create a dessert, S’moresfest is about being creative and creating memories!
Comfort Food for a CauseBaby it’s cold outside and that means it’s time for comfort food. Feature your best comfort food during Sioux Falls Winter Carnival with a portion of the sales benefiting the Boys & Girls Club. From hot dishes and chili to chislic and pecan pie everyone interprets comfort food in their own way so let your best dish shine and warm up the winter with Comfort Food for a Cause.
It’s simple to get on board: Complete the form and tell us what you have planned. We’ll promote your event on our Sioux Falls Winter Carnival website and social media. Because these events are benefits for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire, we ask that you build in a philanthropic element. Your support impacts the lives of children and youth throughout the Sioux Empire who need us most. Please consider adding one of the following ideas for fundraising or any contribution you see fit: ● Donate a portion of proceeds from a particular item or daily sales ● Sell icons at the register and ask your customers to donate $1, $5 or $10 at the point of purchase ● Visit with Amy Sumner @ firstname.lastname@example.org or call 306-5337 to create a customized campaign that best meets your business objectives.
