Every year, NAVEL public programming’s focus and goals are set forth by a committee. For 2020, the 5 members on the committee will be elected by both the NAVEL's Collective Residents, staff and board, as well as the applicants.
Next Term: July 2019 - December 2020Development Period: July-December 2019Programming Season Dates: January 2020 - December 2020
The Programming Committee benefits from the use of the NAVEL space, its resources, equipment, network and full production support. Although previous experience with programming is encouraged, you do not need to have curated or organized public programs before, but you do need to have a strong willingness to do so (and collaboratively!). This is a unique opportunity to learn how to engage intimately with a critically minded group to conceive and realize impactful cultural public programs.
It is important to note that this is a volunteer position and a very demanding one. Before applying, please make sure to review all the information about the committee with special attention to the degree of commitment it represents: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y8Syy4SXt5pOcshG7qzFSiq7qb_nZYqdU1qStQEcBqU/edit?usp=sharing________________________________________
