Thank you so much for your interest of teaching a workshop at the Nola Herb Gathering. We are excited to host this community event and provide a space for learning, growth and healing in a lovingly co-created, diverse environment. At this time we are looking for 9 teachers to participate and teach during this day long conference on a variety of subjects related to practical healing through herbal and plant medicine. We welcome a variety of subjects (Plant Walks, Herbal first Aid, Herbal supports for Pregnancy etc, the possibilities are endless) and teaching styles as well, from lecture, to skill share. We are seeking to create a diverse community of teachers, healers and participants and are therefore transparently giving priority to New Orleanians, and Louisiana Natives, Self identified People of Color, and First Nation Peoples to be represented as healers and teachers of natural medicine in New Orleans. We also welcome Bi-lingual and youth centered workshops. We encourage people of ALL backgrounds to apply to ensure accurate representation of the diversity of New Orleans.

All of our teachers receive free attendance to the gathering and will recieve a $35 honorarium to compensate them for their time, teaching and attendance. In the spirit of building community we ask that all teachers plan to attend the entire event from beginning until end and help spread the word to their online newsletter and social media networks!

Deadline for proposals is December 3, 2017. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST and plan to make final decisions by December 18, 2017. We will email you if your proposal is selected.
