School Wellbeing Provision Review
STEER has developed this FREE TOOL to help schools review their current wellbeing provision. 
  • The review takes no more than 10 minutes to complete.
  • It should be completed by the person responsible for wellbeing provision in your school, ideally on SLT.
  • Following submission, you will receive a confidential summative report.
  • By completing this review you agree to STEER contacting you to share the review report and offer you an opportunity for discussion. You are under no obligation to discuss the review report with STEER.
STEER Education is a UK organisation, founded 10 years ago by Dr Simon and Dr Jo Walker. Since then, STEER has supported nearly 500 schools, including national MATs, LA schools and Premier League academies. STEER has provided advisory guidance to Public Health England and holds 2025 Cyber Essentials accreditation.  In 2022, STEER won the BETT award for their mental health tracking platform STEER Tracking.

The basis of our data collection 
As a Data Controller, the legal basis for STEER processing the personal information collected is called ‘legitimate interest’ under the UK GDPR. The type of personal data collected includes: your name, your school and role, your school email address. The responses to the survey will be analysed in order to provide you with a summary report via email and an opportunity to meet with a STEER representative to explore how STEER could enhance your pastoral wellbeing provision. We may transfer your details to an online marketing database so that we can keep you informed about developments in STEER and other news. We use a proprietary CRM provided by Sprint Education for this purpose. You can opt out of receiving communications from us by emailing enquiries@steer.global. We will only hold your personal information while you remain actively engaged with our services or websites and will delete any inactive contacts after 12 months, unless you have requested its erasure in the meantime.
